The new QUER EXPLORER 80 is the result of intense work in the development of new techniques adopted by the Spanish shipyard QUER Barcelona in order to obtain an 18-meter vessel with a zero carbon footprint.
The shipyard has designed a boat to sail on the high seas, equipped with the QUER Eco Fast System bow and a hull equipped with 5 transverse steps, which facilitate gliding and limit consumption.
This first unit of the QUER EXPLORER 80 complies with the standards for emissions and construction. Light, strong and safe, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 36 kn, it's cruising speed is 16kn.
This vessel is equipped with two Volvo Penta D13 engines of 700 HP in special version compliant with IMO TIER III regulations. Quer Barcelona is committed to the blue economy and sustainability, meeting the DNSH, Do No Significant Harm.
The transmission is in shaft line. The surface propellers are integrated in two tunnels. The rudders are external.
The engine room has a double access.
The boat has 2 steering positions, one high up outside on the fly bridge.
Inside, the cabin is equipped with 4 professional seats, including a dedicated steering position. The cabin design offers very good visibility. On the lower deck, there is a rest area with a kitchen, a dining room, a shower, a separate toilet and 4 beds.
All modifications are possible according to the specifications.
